Heidi Feather quest for esoteric knowledge began over 35 years ago. Her youth was spent in the fields and forest of Southern New Hampshire, mostly on her maternal Grandparents farm. Here she developed a kinship with flora, fauna and land spirits. Her inner-standing grew as she worked with the elements. She became a student of the craft studding with Christopher Penzac and others. She has been a student of the tarot for 20 plus years. Her readings are very Earthy, amazing and Hot, say some of her clients. She has also gained her certification in Therapeutic Herbalism through Blazing Star Herbal School.. She was a working apprentice at Wise Way Herbals and has studied with Susan Weed. Heidi's unique perspective of plants and land spirits brings a depth of knowledge into her readings. Heidi is also an accoplished wool spinner and herbal dyer. All of her yarn is hand spun and hand dyed by Heidi. 90% of the herbs are wild-crafted by Heidi for her dye cauldron. Heidi also wild-craft's herbal products and teaches about the herbs and dyeing. Herbs are an important part of our heritage. They beg to not be forgotten and not to be though of as just weeds.

Heidi Feather's youth was spent in the fields and forest of Southern New Hampshire, mostly on her maternal Grandparents farm. She was introduced to the herbs by both her Grandmothers. She felt a strong kinship with the fauna and flora of her area. She than gained her certification in therapeutic herbalism through Blazing Star Herbal School and has studied with Susan Weed. Several years ago, she was introduced her to spinning wool. She fell in love with it, and with a month she had her own spinning wheel. With her background of herbalism she knew that many of the herbs could be used as dye. In fact they are the first dyes. So she combined her passion of the herbs with her crafty side. All of her yarn is hand spun and hand dyed by Heidi. 90% of the herbs are wild-crafted by Heidi for her dye cauldron. Heidi also wild-craft's herbal products and teaches about the herbs and dyeing. Herbs are an important part of our heritage. They beg to not be forgotten and not to be though of as just weeds..

Wild Emergence
I love dying wool and silk with plants. I have been trained as an herbalist. I taught a few classes on herbal dying and realized I was teaching more about the herbs that I love. So with that in my mind. I came up with a seven month course starting in March. Each month can be taken separately, but when taken together will give you a solid foundation to bring herbs into your daily life. This is an indepth beginner course that should wet your appetite for more.
Herbs will be explored in many different ways. You will learn to connect to the Earth. I will take you on guided meditations of Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Plants. The workshop will meet at my home at 10 am, except March 25th which is 1pm. Please bring a bag lunch with you, for the days form 10-3. I will have water and teas available to drink. This course is great for anyone of any fitness level. All you need to be able to do is walk a bit.
